The member of compression as well as the column are unprepared for study which is the way of increased strength and effect of 1ateral confinement. At this point, the object of this study is column on compression. One case is full-type steel plate reinforcement and the other case is tie-steel plate reinforcement. Supposed that difference of behavior and effect of restrict by full type-steel Plate is equal to effect of restrict by steel tube, analyze efect to limit strength and strain structural behavior by finite element method analysis. The purpose of this study is to present the base data of steel-reinforcement design in column. This study is analyzed total five modeling confhled by steel plate of various width on plain concrete column assuming that an essential element of steel plate is showed effect of confinement by poisson's ratio on plastic behavior. This study analyzed for the five model used a reinforced steel plate that has been changed in the width on steel plate. The study is conducted about the effect that the element of steel plate formed Full type-steel plate or Tie-steel plate of a column model and a structural behavior by the short column forced a central load is modeled by reduced column of rectangular section and through a processing analysis. The models are arranged by investigating a theory about effect of confinement with the reference theory. The soess and variation of steel plate in analytical model is investigated and analyzed by checking the effect confinement of steel plate. Throughout this study, we analyzed strength of models, strain for result, 1) The level deformation of steel plates in full strength model is that C-2, C-4, C-12 series be shown 0.00157cm, 0.00198cm, 0.00188cm. C240 models in the model of tie-strength is that C-2 series is 0.00120~0.00126cm, C-4 series is 0.00124~0.00130cm, C-12 series is 0.00107~0.00120cm. C120 models in the model of tie-strength is that C-2 series is 0.00133~0.00138cm, C-4 series is 0.00133-0.00137cm, C-12 series is 0.00099~0.00115cm. 2) The level deformation of concrete is that C240 models of tie-strengthen is that C-2 series is 0.00120~0.00126cm, C-4 series is 0.00124-0.00130cm, C-12 series is 0.00107~0.00120cm.
