Lately, English education has been become important in the global era. So, upward of 3rd graders study English in the primary school. However, the majority of students can not have chances of speaking English outside of their classrooms. furthermore, we don't have enough qualified teachers for teaching primary school English. Therefore, We need Multimedia class materials for English education. Multimedia class materials have some merits which can instigate children's interests. For example, good pronunciation, many useful expressions, games, interesting movies, cultures etc. For this reason, The Ministry of Education provides CD-ROM titles for teachers along with English textbooks and teacher's guides. But, It seems that many teachers can not apply multimedia class materials for primary English education. The purpose of this study is to grope for the appropriate application of using multimedia class materials. Then this study was analyzed in connection with two topics. One thing is how to apply multimedia class materials in the primary school English education. The other thing is application rate of Teacher's CD-ROM title according to stages in the English class. The subjects of this study are primary school teachers who teach 5th & 6th graders in Chol-la province. The suggestions of this study were as follows. First, there should be some training about practical application for multimedia class materials for the primary school English teachers. Second, a web-sight which primary English teachers can make use of easily. The web-sight should contain class materials for listening, speaking, reading, writing, activity, role-play, song and chant, and so on. Third, there should be excellent computers and televisions in the classrooms. Televisions should have big screen and good sound system. Computers should be connected with the internet quickly and have no problems of using CD-ROM title. Fourth, there should be some training for primary school teachers to improve their English skills.
