This study analyzed the factors affecting in the formation of ego-identity in order to knowing about problem experiencing by the children of alcolisim psychologically and socially, and then attemped to look for current questions in public welfare service which can be more effective at practical intervention. This study is composed in course of analyzing the factor affected ego-identity of alcoholisms children-subordinated variable among people and social demographical independent variables (sex, age, scholarship, monthly Income, whether or not live with parents), identified model, future prospect, relationships bewteen parents and children, and negative experience. This study is executed questionary from 10th. Feb. 2000 to 19th. Feb. 2000 in target of teenagers while one is student. 412 cases is analyzed among total 500 cases finally. The major analysis of data is t-test, unified variable analysis, correlationship analysis. The results are as follow: 1. COA(Children of Alcohotic) is 37% within general population and this is lot of percentage by 22% in the sight of 10~15% in the rate of disease. 2. In the result between COA of general family, score of ego-identity is lower in COA than children of general family, but it makes little difference. 3. In the result between COA and children of general of family, score of negative experience is higher in COA than children of general family. It was found that COA have more negative experience than children of general family, because of alcoholic parents. 4. In the result between COA and children of general family, score of parents-children relationship is lower in COA than children of general family. This is suggested that COA is not satisfied with their parents-children relationship, do not live happily together, ave a pow trust each other. 5. As a result of this study, a sex, a monthly income, identification model, parents-children relationship, negative experience, the future prospect are the factors that effect on forming Ego-identity. 6. The factor that have an effect on forming Ego-identity of COA was showed the future prospect, parents-children relationship, negative experience. And emotional · psychological pain was more effected on forming Ego-identity of COA than economical side. As above, we knew that COA was suffered psychologic · social difficulty for alcoholic parents. Therefore in case of intervention in Alcoholic family, it must be intervented in their children. As a results this study is expected that a foundation of new social work practice is made for intervention in COA.
