The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of application of Dramatic Play Program on the development of creativity in children by conduction experiment, to provide the importance of application of Dramatic Play Program, and to contribute to the young children's education. The concrete hypothesis for research are as follows. First, children with experimental group will have more grade than children with control group in the field of creativity. Second, there is a meaningful difference between boy and girl of experimental group. As many as 40 young children (22 boys and 18 girls), aged 5, in 'S' kindergarten, in Gwangju metropolitan city, were chosen as a subject and were divided into two groups; experimental group (11 boys and 9 girls) and control group (11 boys and 9 girls). The research was conducted for 10 weeks from 24th, Apr. to 7th, Jul. in 2006 with the following procedure; pre-test, experiment, after-test. The results of this study are as follows. First, children with control group which applied Dramatic Play Program had much grade than control group in the field of creativity, affecting the improvement of creativity. Second, children with control group which applied Dramatic Play Program had much grade than control group in the field of fluency, affecting the improvement of fluency which is the lower factor of creativity. Third, children with control group which applied Dramatic Play Program had much grade than control group in the field of fluency, affecting the improvement of flexibility which is the lower factor of creativity. Fourth, children with control group which applied Dramatic Play Program had much grade than control group in the field of fluency, affecting the improvement of originality which is the lower factor of creativity. Fifth, there is no meaningful difference in score in the experiment group which applied Dramatic Play Program.
