This study is about the successes and failures of amateur women golfers driver swing. through a biomechanics and kinematical comparative analysis, I compared the important changing factors, secured fixed data, and grasped the special gualities of an efficient driver swing. I tested to closely examine the form of a successful and stable driver swing and to achieve my goal I divided and closely analyzed the seven positions of the swing, from address to end follow through using 3 amateur women golfers, 4 digital camcorders, and 2 ground reaction force monitors. The following is the conclusion I made from the results of this study. 1) It appeared that at the time of the driver swing, that by the right-left(Y) difference of the head's placement at the time of impact, compared with the address, was -0.03m when successfully hit and -0.06m at a failed hit. Thus the head's positioning was more similar at times of success than at times of failure. In comparison to a successful stroke, at times of failure there wasn't a precise hit and the chance of a slice was much higher. 2) Looking at the position difference of the club head at the time of the top swing with the address, on the average successful swing, was 0.00m front-back(X) movement and, when successful, the front-back movement sas less than when it failed and that to maintain a stable swing, the club head position must be consistent. 3) The value of the left-right(Y) position difference of the left hip at the address compared with at the top swing was -0.11m when successful and -0.16m when it failed, This showed that when it failed, the whole hip was moved to the right. 4) When successful, the center of gravity's left-right(Y) velocity was 0.07m/sec at the top swing, 0.55m/sec at the middle down swing, and 0.45m/sec at impact and when it failed, the overall average velocity value was 0.16m/sec at the top swing, 0.53m/sec at the middle down swing, and 0.25m/sec at impact. This showed that even though the middle down swing velocities of the successes and failures were neatly the same, the center of gravity's velocity at the impact of a success was 0.20m/sec faster compared to the impact of a failure. 5) If you look at the club head's left-right(Y) velocity at the top swing, down swing, and impact, it appeared it was 0.27m/sec, 8.09m/sec, and 27.99m/sec on a success and 0.33m/sec, 5.34m/sec, and 20.91m/sec on a failure. Thus, from the middle down swing to the impact, the club head's velocity was faster on a success than a failure. 6) Looking at the average value of the middle down swing and impact cocking angles, it was 144.66° and 165.67° on a successful hit and 140.66° and 161.44° on a failed hit. This showed that from the top swing to the impact, on a successful swing, by greatly lessening the cocking angle, there is an addition to the angular velocity and linear velocity at the time of impact and it greatly contributes to the momentum. 7) On a successful hit, the angle of rotation og the middle down swing and impact was 190.33° and 169.16° and, on a failed hit, 178.67° and 163.01°, When it was a failed shot, on the address and the linear impact was -12.80° more than the address When it was a successful shot, the difference between the address and the middle down swing was -4.09° on a failed hit, from the down swing on, the shoulders were already closed, at the time of impact the angle was more closed than at the address, there was no sure impact timing on the swing, and a hook resulted. 8) On a successful swing, the ground reaction force monitors showed that the strength and body weight was maintained in a front-back(X) direction and left-right(Y) direction and low weight balance in the left foot in an up-down(Z) direction, thereby showing the momentum was inefficient, but as a result of stabilized body weight in a front-back(X) and left-right(Y) direction, the drever swing was a success.
