The relation between attachment classification of Anxiety disorder children and their mother’s experiences during their childhood원문보기

The purposes of this study were to search raising experiences of childhood that effects Anxiety disorder children’s attachment classification and their mothers’ internal working model through Manchester Child Attachment Story Task and Adult Attachment Interview, Also it was to find the differences the experience-measure during the childhood of adults between anxiety disorder children and family-reared children and their mothers according to attachment classification. The subjects of the study were 67 preschoolers, consisted of 30 children who were five to seven years old and diagnosed Anxious disorder by the department of child psychiatry of S university hospital and S child counseling center in Seoul and the children’s mothers, 30 people, and 37 family-reared children aged from five to seven living in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province and the children’s mothers, 37. This study used Manchester Child Attachment Story Task and mother’s experiences during her childhood developed by Green, Stanley, & Goldwyn (2003) to measure childhood attachment representation. Also Adult Attachment Interview developed by Main, George, Kaplan (1985) was used to examine representation about attachment experiences. The results were rated based on the Manchester and AAI coding manual. The data were analyzed with the descriptive statistics and took crossing verification, the x² inspection, and t-test. The results of this study were as follows: First, Anxiety disorder children showed differences from family-reared children in the attachment classification. One difference was that Anxiety disorder children appeared more Avoidance type (A), Resistance type (C), and Disorganization type (D) and less Attachment type (B) than family-reared children. Second, it was found that there were more anxious children’s mothers who had experiences of family diseases, parents’ mental diseases, and physical and sexual cruelty than family-reared children’s mothers in negative life-event. In adjectives showed relationship with parents, anxious children’s mothers expressed less positive adjectives about their real parents than family-reared children’s. Anxious children’s mothers had more external injury experiences than those of family-reared children’s. At last, it was found differences of representation about attachment relationship experiences with the mother’s parents between anxious children’s mothers and family-reared children’s. Anxious children’s mothers showed a lot denial toward real father, representation because of neglected experiences and representation because of experiences about rejecting toward real mother than family-reared children’s mothers. Also it was less seen that representation by loving experiences toward real father and rear mother. Mothers of children who made stable attachment had more loving experiences but less rejecting and neglect experiences than mothers of children who formed instable attachment. It is showed form Anxiety disorder children and family-reared children, too.
