In particular, the internet-game addiction is recently being a serious problem in our country's adolescents. The internet-game addiction leads to being taken ill in the daily life socially and domestically due to overly indulging in computer. The purpose of this study was to examine whether there is other alternative program for adolescents with internet-game addiction. It aimed to verify which effective factors there are on preventing game addiction in adolescents with internet-game addiction. In order to research into the internet-game addiction, it first examined the preceding researches on internet addiction, and examined a program on preventing and treating internet-game addiction. The research subjects were targeted male middle-school students in the 2nd grade. And, problems and solutions were evaluated on the basis of the counseling contents over several times, and then were addressed deeply. Through questionnaire, the actual condition of internet game was grasped through 100 students in ㄱ middle school where is located in Paju-si. And, through counseling over 4-6 weeks targeting 5 middle-school students in the 2nd grade at the writer's church, their alternative program was devised. In the experimental group was asked the interest of their parents and homes, and their participation in a program. And, after counseling, parents' interest and attitude were observed. The following conclusions were obtained in this study. First, it selected 5 clients who think them to be internet addiction, and then observed clients through counseling in diverse conditions. Among them, there were also clients who think them to be addiction in the face of playing less internet game. And inversely, there were also clients who think them not to be addiction in the face of playing internet game for over 5 hours. It implies that the difference in game-time use and the addiction consciousness were not those that are conducive to escaping from internet-game addiction. Second, it signifies that a role of parents and home is great in order to escape from internet-game addiction. It means that when parents are unconcerned or fail to realize seriousness of internet-game addiction, it cannot escape from internet-game addiction. It implies that parents' interest is quite great regardless of much or less in game-use time. Third, students, who were applied the alternative program, came to have control and self-regulation from internet-game addiction. There was significance in a sense that carried out the preventive approach and the alternative program on adolescents' internet-game addiction. Through the above research, adolescents with internet-game addiction have close relationship with parents, and the indifference in home leads adolescents to be driven to PC room and a place of game. Due to this, it comes to reach even a situation that is unavailable for normal school and home life. In order to make sound living without indulging in game addiction, it is important to have much time amid parents' care and home.
