Primary education provided the groundwork for developing a child's character. This is the main reason to begin inclusion education, and it is very important, because an inclusion environment increases sociality among disabled children. These days special education in Korea is extending opportunities for disable students, who increasingly are breaking away from social restrictions, and are able to live on their own.
That is a key benefit of inclusion education.
Inclusion education brings assistance not only for the disabled, but for the all children, it provides a fresh perspective to help lead our society into the 21st century.
Inclusion education in Korea is in its early stage. So there still are many problems to solve. This study aims to provide thorough grasp of these problems. First, it is necessary to determine the satisfaction special teachers, inclusion teachers, and parents, by collecting data, and applying statistical analysis.
A satisfaction survey of recipient was defined as special teacher, teacher and parents in a nearby capital. I sent 1,064 postal questionnaire to 154 schools. 300 questionnaire were returned.
In my survey, each group(special teachers, teachers, parents) show average over all satisfaction lead with current inclusion education. The data suggest there is not enough of a difference to distinguish satisfaction level, between special teachers, and inclusion teachers.
Further more I have drawn a satisfaction-comparison between types of child-hood
The result suggest, there is a significant difference beween various groups. I have made a comparative study of cognition between special teachers, and inclusion teachers. The survey suggest there is little difference between special teachers and inclusion teachers. Lastly I surveyed inclusion teachers' personal backgrounds in the relation to inclusion classroom satisfactions Lever. Is it true that personal backgrounds are the major factor affecting inclusion satisfaction? The results this survey suggest not. In the Korea, this study suggest that many problems are remained. First priority is to improve inclusion teachers' professional development with regards to special educational knowledge, and encourage more interaction between special teachers and inclusion teachers.
