ABSTRACT The influence of the emotional intelligence education program for playfulness and prosocial behavior of emotional disorder children Lee, Ji Yeon Department of Early Childhood Special Education Graduate School of Special Education Kong ju National University Supervised by Professor Samsup Kim, PH. D. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the emotional intelligence education program on playfulness and prosocial behavior of emotional disorder children. The questions established for the goal of this study are the followings. First, How does an emotional intelligent education program influence on the playfulness of the emotional disorder children? Second, How does an emotional intelligent education program influence on the prosocial behavior of the emotional disorder children? This emotional intelligent education program was performed 2-3 times of 16 session with three 4-year-old emotional disorder children. The program conducted in order of a Pre-test, emotional intelligent education program and an ex post-test. To examine a playfulness, Children's Playfulness Scale(CPS) for the use of teachers was used, and to examine a prosocial behavior, Prosocial behavior test and observation was taken. The results of this study were as follows First, the emotional intelligent educational program result in a positive influence to playfulness which is sub-factor to the physical spontaneity, social spontaneity, cognitive spontaneity, expression of joy and sense of humor to the emotional disorder children. From this result, a playfulness can be increased by en education or a mediation Second, the emotional intelligent educational program result in a positive influence to prosocial behavior of the emotional disorder children which is sub-factor ability to control personal emotions, ability to form to interpersonal relationships, ability to adapt to kindergarten.
