The style of spending experienced in the adolescent period continuously affects the forming of propensity to consume in adulthood and the progress of maturing into a healthy consumer in the future. The display of buying luxury goods, which was once the sole habit of the few & privileged class, is currently exercised even by the teens. As a result, the number of adolescences possessing and purchasing luxury goods to show off their richness and status increased, and as time passed, the bar price of goods with purposes for showing off increased. The teens' expense for showing off has become a social problem. Therefore, the investigation of the adolescents' purchasing of luxury goods and educating consumers to create healthy spending habits should take place so that the negative effects of purchasing luxury goods minimize. An analysis is carried out by using the 504 questionnaires and the method of chi-square test, T test, and F test. The results of evaluating on what affects the highschool students' attitude of purchasing luxury goods is that there is no statistically relevant difference between the groups of boys and girls, the 1st and 3rd graders, and those who have little pocket money and lots of pocket money. However, it is proved that the students of the academic high schools tend to buy more of the items than the those attending the industrial high schools. Furthermore, the more the parents of the students are educated, and the higher the social status is, the more the students tend to buy luxury goods. The results of the analysis on what the students' spending tendency for display triggers are that there are no relevant difference between the male and female groups. However, the 3rd graders spent more for showing off than the 1st graders, and the students attending the academic high schools spent more than those going to industrial high schools, In addition, there are no prominent difference between the groups with little monthly allowances and the group with enough monthly allowances.
