We often see the teachers who are in charge of chorus for the first time in elementary school or having difficulty in teaching the basic aspect. In order to teach chorus more effectively while solving these problems, it is considered that finding out the teaching method of people with abundant specialized knowledge and experience on chorus in detail would be necessary. Accordingly, this study has examined the teaching methods for posture, respiration, vocalization and pronunciation in the perspective of teaching elementary school chorus by gathering the literatures related to chorus while comparing these things to find diversity, contradiction, sense of distance from actual scene and suggestions for using the actual scene. And the teaching method for posture, respiration, vocalization and pronunciation was summarized in general based on the common elements and the things that might be worth being used at the actual scene. First, there are standing posture, sitting posture, singing posture and mental posture for singing postures. The common method for standing and sitting postures, the method presented by Lee, Dong Hoon for the singing posture and the method presented by Chu, Eung Woon for the mental posture can be applied according to the conditions of actual scene. Second, the training method to become familiar with the basic posture of respiration method by C.V. Palisca, the method of mastering the inhaling method by Kang, Sin Ui, the method of teaching student show to take a deep breath by L. Swears, the method to become familiar with abdominal breathing sense by Lee, Dong Hoon and the methods of practicing abdominal breathing presented in the revised textbook, etc can be used for good respiration. Third, for the vocalization based on head voice, have it connected naturally to avoid having change of tone starting from head voice register to middle voice register and from middle voice register to chest voice register, have students practice with descending musical scale while it would be more effective if the chorus instructor or sound model performs vocalization demonstration here. For a more specific teaching, the methods that can develop the head voice of children presented by L. Swears and Lee, Dong hoon can be used. And the method presented by Oh, Eun Hee can be used while teaching the chest voice. Fourth, there are mainly the pronunciation methods of vowels and consonants for the pronunciation while singing. As the vowels play the role of making sound, unify the mouth shape to be blended well with other vowels. And as the consonants play the role of delivering the details of lyrics, have them connected promptly and clearly, but avoid having influence on vowels as much as possible and have them pronounced as they sound. The most important thing in teaching these posture, respiration, vocalization and pronunciation is to have them performed naturally in the midst of all these things forming a harmony while it would be ideal to avoid practicing too much since the subjects of teaching are children.
