Objective : The purpose of this study is to examine increasing the proportion of organic germanium in each mycelium by adding inorganic germanium to mycelium of Cordyceps Militarus (CM), Phellinus Linteus (PL), Genoderma Lucidum (GL), and Fomes Fomentarius (FF), which have various physiological functions. In addition, the primary focus of this study is to extent to which the research is to analyze efficient concentration to convert on organic germanium by differentiating the concentration of inorganic germanium on the media. Methods : After growing in the PDA media, each mushroom mycelium was cultivated for a week each PDB media with no germanium. Each culture fluid of mycelium was applied to PDB media with differentiated concentration of germanium; 0, 100, 200, 500, 700, and 1000ppm. For the next step, it was cultivated for 21 days and was measured by UV spectrophotometer under 525nm every week in order to check the germanium concentration rate of each mushroom mycelium. Results : According to the data, Germanium was correlated with growth of GL mycelium more than CM, PL, and FF mycelium. Moreover, it showed that more the PDB media which is higher increased at all mushroom mycelium, the better germanium content is high after cultivating. Specifically, it was observed that pick of recovery rate is the highest rate at 100ppm. Discussion : In this study, it will be conducted by differentiating the culture period each mushroom mycelium in order to research for more efficient condition. Generally, it was observed that the pick of recovery rate for organic germanium, in PDB media which are higher strengthen for 100ppm germanium concentration, is maximize more than high concentration. It showed that germanium concentration of mycelium is not correlated with PDB media of germanium concentration when it was cultivated at first. As a result, the present research suggests the need to product organic germanium effectively, setting the best condition for inorganic media for each mushroom mycelium.
