Tozer)에 따르면 이 시대 교회는 어떤 방법을 사용해서라도 개종자를 만들어내겠다는 사상에 멍들어 있다는 것이다. 이와 같은 사상이 한국교회 찬양예

This is a Small Contribution to the current debate regarding the vitalization Alternatives of the Reformed Liturgy in Post-modern fimes. The dissertation has Seven Chapters. The initral chapter treats raise an problems on research, Purpose of research, methodology, significance, question, limitation and preceding researches in an introductory chapter. In Chapter two presents the research history on reformed liturgy. The first section treats the reformer John calvin's primary sources on litirgy in his magnum opus, Ioannis Calvini opera quae supersunt omnia (Droz, 1863-1900). The second section deals with that Post-calvinist's interpretations on Calvin's liturgy from 1932 to 2008. The third section treats liturgical sources and liturglcal interpretations in post-reformed Circle and the evangelical circle. In Chapter three examines that preceding researches of liturgy in the Bible and the ecclesiastical history. Especially, accordiut to John Calvin, the purposes of the church is to be an instrument (instrumentum)to our vocation and to come to the aid of our sanctification. As we know very well calvin is a prominent theologian of the Holy spirit.(Hodge) And also pious minister in Geneva. In Calvin, the peaching of the Gospel and the instituron of the teaching ministry are intended to awaken the faith and promote the ccollective sanctification of the members of the ecclesiastical community by establishing between them what Calvin calls 'the consensus of faith'; As for the sacraments, their principal function is to maintain the faith of believers and thus contribue to fheir individual sanctification. The preaching of the Gospel by the ministers of the Church is therefore the ordingry means by which the faith is communicated to us. Calvin declares that the sacraments are another aid, near and similar to the preaching of the Gospel, to the sustaining and confirming of the faith. (INST., IV, 14. 1) Calvin underlines the usefulness of the secraments, considered as instruments that the spirit of God makes use of in order to reach us and bring us to christ, still, the deepest requirements of his theology, which necessitate, compel him to exclud any essential union between the sacramental elements and grace, (consensus Tigurinus, Art. 15). Calvin retained np more than the two sacraments of Baptism and the Eucharist, believing that they alone are attested in the Scripture and 'clearly present Jesus Christ to us'. The two sacraments sum up the work of the Christ, representing as they do the remission of sins and the redemption. According to Calvin, the spiritual reality of the body and blood of Christ does not identity itself with the material elements nor find itself in any way included in them. It is given at the same time as they are, This is neither the Roman catholic transubstentiation nor the Luthean consub stantiation, but neither is it the symbolization of zwingli. According to Calvin, to bring about communication with the Christ, the Holy Spirit builds upon faith. Union with Christ in the Supper ought then to be regarded as an effect of faith; of which it is the fulfillment or completion, Dwt this union with Christ (unio christi)is given us from the very moment when we are incorporated in Christ by taith. The Eucharist is a means of sanctification for the elect who ard already incorporated in Christ. It is an instrument that the Holy Spirit uses to confivm our faith and deepen it, by giving us the ever-renewed. Certitude of our union with Christ and by reinforcing that holy union that we have with the son of God by being members of his body, by having life in common with him, by being already through hope partakers of his glory, although we are living this mortal and corruptible life. It serves to complete or to double the action of the word, with the aid of material or corporal means appropriate to our frailty. Yet, whatever may be the value of the arguments that Calvin adduces to justity his particular interpretation of the Eucharist, we must acknocoledge that his doctrine leaves one with many obscurities, only imperfectly maskedby an exegesis that is often peculiar, and by the appeal to mystery. In spite of the function he assigns to the Holy Spirit in establishing contact between the Christ and the believer, it is not easy to see how he could maintain that the faithful 'really' recaive the body and blood of Christ in the communion. It may be that the decisive reason is not to be sought for in his doctrinal preoccupations but in his piety, which demanded very positive affirmations with regard to the presence of the Christ in the supper. This enabled him to make both sacra ments dependent upon the preaching of the word. Firstly, our Lord teaches and instructs us by his word. Secondly, he confirms us by his sacraments. Thirdly, by the light of his Holy Spirit, he enlightens our undestanding, and give entry into our hearts to both the word and the sacraments. In Chapter four, six major worship-type cases are made in this dissertation. 1) seungdong presbyterian Church as traditional worship service. 2) willow-creek community Church as Seeker-driven worship service. 3) vineyard Christian Fellow ship as charismatic worship service. 4) Thranus' praise & worship as praise and worship service. 5) vintagefaith as Emergeut worship service. 6) Ginghamsburg United Merhodist Church as Cybernetic worship service.
