ERP, as known as revolution of business processing, is a tasking system that manages resources efficiently by combining all parts of business internal activities. However, ERP cannot be operated, as the same format, on every company. When it is optimized for company by proper customizing, efficiency of ERP can be maximized because each company is in different business environment and management method. This study is carried out to be aware of what the key performance in MTO company is, and how to customize ERP to achieve the key performance. To achieve this, I defined key performance and required functions of ERP in MTO companies, compared practically customized ERP functions through case study, and analyzed the achievement based on the customized ERP functions. In conclusion, strengthening general task efficiency and business management capacity were clearly carried out through ERP customizing, such as adopting PS module, GPD/LTP, computerized EAC and intensified production monitoring to accomplish the key performance which was defined as on-time delivery and cost management by project. Companies, which have already planned to adopt ERP, are able to set up Enterprise Resource Planning System very successfully, if they are aware of their business environmental condition, problems of process, and customize properly within the range of not disrupting the best practice of original ERP.
