This study was made to assume the amount of each intake of ingredients detected in the agricultural products which had been largely provided by market, large market, etc., in Chungbuk area from 2010 to 2012 for school meal in order to minimize the damage by pesticide residue in agricultural products on human. On the other hand, the result from the investigation into the real state of agricultural pesticide residue exceeding the tolerance limit will be used as the guideline to ensure the safety and reliability on food, to evaluate the risk, and establish the safety management standards in agricultural products. 1. The experiment was carried out by the use of GC/ECD and GC/MSD on the 205 items of pesticide residues detected in agricultural products which had been provided by market, and large market in Chungbuk, Korea from 2010 to 2012 for school meal. The result shows that the 92 types pesticide elements were detected, with the 13 types exceeding 14.13% of tolerance limit of agricultural residue standards. 2. Among them, 10 kinds of agricultural products exceeded the tolerance limit of pesticide residue. The order of each agricultural products with a lot of pesticide is as follows; cormus, fruits and vegetables, fruits, wild vegetables root vegetables, cereals, corns, and mushroom. The agricultural products exceeding the tolerance limit are 10 items, among which 6 are cormus with highest amount of pesticide as in the following(leek, spinach, perilla leaf, ccchard, mallow and lettucce), 3 were wild vegetables(aster scaber, amaranthus mangostanus, pimpinella brachycarpa), and 1 was fruit vegetables(cucumber). Cormus was found highest amount of residue, and the next was fruits vegetables, fruits, wild vegetables, root vegetables, cereals, root and tuber crops and mushrooms. Such agricultural products as grains, root and tuber crops, fruits and mushrooms were found under the tolerance limit for pesticide residue. 3. It also revealed that 13 kinds of pesticides exceeded the tolerance limit standard for pesticide residue. 4 kinds(cypermethrin, etoxazole, flufenoxuron and fosthiazate) were detected in 2010, 8 kinds(trifloxystrobin, endosulfan, flufenoxuron, lufenuron, procymidone, carbendazim, azoxystrbin and pyraclostrbin) were found in 2011, and 7 kinds(chlorpyrifos, cadusafos, iprobenfos/ibp, lufenuron, carbendazim, diflubenzuron and pencycuron) were monitored in 2012. 4. The evaluation result on the risk that the amount of daily intake agricultural pesticide through food affects human by calculating the tolerable daily intake on the basis of the detected agricultural pesticide and its residue reveals that the ADI by the amount of defined intake(ADI) a day and, the EDI per person a day were analyzed high, ranging from lowest of 0.00057% even to highest of 107.02353%. The above results show that current pesticide residue in agricultural products in our country was found safe under the tolerance limit, but since people have a lot of vegetable fiber a day, securing the safety of cleaning and cooking process before taking them is needed. In order to ensure the safety on the pesticide residue in agricultural products, the continuous monitoring is required for the proper management and evaluation on the risk, with setting up the reasonable tolerance limit for pesticide residues respectively.
