ABSTRACT Effects of a leader’s emotional labor and relationship affection perceived by physically-challenged people on behavior intension Yang yun-kwan Major of school Physical Education The Graduate School Chonbuk National University This research aims to identify the effects on behavior intention of a leader’s emotional labor and relationship affection perceived by physically-challenged people during sports activities. For the research experiment, about 230 people with physical disability engaged in a sport activity in the Jeonlabuk-do region were surveyed. Twelve sets of responses with poor reliability were excluded. For this research data analysis, SPSS18.0 was utilized for validity analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis, difference verification and regression analysis. As a result of such research herein, the findings are as follows: First, gender-specific variable differences were verified according to demographic characteristics. As a result, emotional labor and relationship affection showed no significant difference while only behavior intension exhibited gender-specific gaps. Age-specific variable difference was verified and found a significant difference in emotional labor. Relationship affection had no significant change and behavior intention had significant changes according to ages. Academic background was considered, too, in variable difference verification and all of the variables represented no significant difference concerning academic background. In terms of the subjects’ marital status, variable difference verification has found significant differences in emotional labor according to one’s marital status. Regarding the sub-factors of relationship affection, approaching relationship affection showed a significant change according to the marital status. Behavior intention was also found to have a significant change. Second, emotional labor perceived by physically-challenged people was found to positively affect the approaching relationship affection, a sub-factor of relationship affection and not to affect the separated relationship affection, a negative relationship affection. Third, the approaching relationship affectionof relationship affection, was found to affect behavior intention and the separated relationship affection was found not to affect behavior intention.
