Also, I tried to explore possibility and limitation of homeschooling, which is continuing to grow, based on previous researches. The purpose of this research is to use the findings to propose several methods to solve problems associated with limitation of homeschooling and contribute to its active development. To conduct research, information was collected from books related to the subject, previous researches published, media materials and documents from the web sites in the Internet and analyzed. The most notable characteristics about parents who seek homeschooling are that they tend to place very high value on family and have a high degree of commitment and education to their children. Under these parents, children experience freedom not constrained by conventional educational framework and enjoy free spirit not limited by time and space. Moreover, these parents introduce various educational possibilities that conventional schools cannot as they educate their children as they see appropriate. However, although children experience higher level of satisfaction from their education compared to conventional schools, they also experience problems. They include legal problems as homeschooling has not acquired legal status as educational program; prejudices of community; difficulty in providing richer educational contents; children experience social isolation as they spend most of their time at home; and, finally, the anxiety and loneliness of parents who have to assume sole responsibility for education of their children. Men require communal support at fundamental level and cannot live by themselves alone. Therefore, it is crucial to provide communal identity and sociability to children receiving homeschooling so that they can play with other children with diverse backgrounds outside their family. Moreover, it is also important for parents of children receiving homeschooling to form an educational community of their own in order to overcome anxiety and loneliness associated with assuming sole and huge responsibility of educating their children. In this research, as a way of facilitating active growth of homeschooling through formation of educational community, I proposed collaborative methods using pumatyi (time sharing system of collaboration), cooperative association, alternative school, local community and churches. If these methods are implemented effectively, the parents will be able to overcome various problems associated with homeschooling and create new educational tradition.
