본 연구는 19세기 고전발레 작품인 「잠자는 숲 속의 미녀」를 페미니즘 관점에서 성 역할과 여성이미지에 초점을 맞추어 연구 하였다.

Through the above research process, the researcher showed change in cognition and viewpoint on gender by reinterpreting the women's of the past through reinterpreting classical works in continuous relationship between the past and the present, implying that new things only are not creative and modernistic, and intended to show the position of women, and change along with the change of period by positively describing the image of male dancers also besides women.
