J.Brahms Variations & Fugue on a Theme by Handel, Op.24의 곡은 1861년 작곡된 곡으로, 독일 태생의 영국작곡가 Georg Friedrich H?ndel(1685~1759)의 의 제1번, B♭major aria를 주제 및 시작으로 하여 25개의 variations에 이어 마지막 장대한 fugue로 이루어진 대규모의 곡이다.

J.S.Bach French Suite No.6 BWV 817 represents the last work among 6 French Suites composed by J.S.Bach during 1722~1724 and it has 8 movements, the highest number among the 6 works. It was composed in E major, starting with Allemande and consisting of Courante, Sarabande, Gavotte, Polonaise, Menuet, Bourr?e and Gigue. L.v.Beethoven Sonata No.17, Op.31-2 is one of 32 Sonatas composed in 1802, middle period of the composer. It was named 'Tempest', composed in d minor with consisting of classical 3 movements in its form. J.Brahms Variations & Fugue on a Theme by Handel, Op.24 was composed in 1861, and it is a grand sized work, consisting of 25 variations and final Fugue, and it starts with its main theme of Bb major aria, number 1 of by Handel(1685~1759). Each of the 25 variations was composed with different forms, rhythms and technics by using single melody, whereby these are being recognized as one of the representatives of the masterpiece in the history of piano literature. Pour le piano by C.A.Debussy was composed in 1901, namely the first period of the composer, and it consists of 3 works, namely Prelude, Sarabande and Toccata. While the themes of the works indicate classical form of suites, these adopt harmony in diverse modes and 5 sound scales, together with liberal transition, all showing the unique characteristics of C.A.Debussy.
