This study was executed to find how vestibular rehabilitation exercise and sensorimotor training are effective in improving the postural adjustment and gait of the parkinson's patients. The subjects of this study were randomly divided into group 1, group 2, and group 3. A bicycle training for Group 1, a sensorimotor training for Group 2, and a vestibular rehabilitation exercise for Group 3 were executed for 30 minutes, 3 times a week for 4 weeks and then, a follow up for 2 weeks was executed, respectively. To verify the effect of intervention for each group, I have executed the comparison between the results of pretest and posttest, and to check the continuity of the intervention effect, executed a follow up test. 1. In the group 1 which executed a bicycle training, Time Up & Go test and Berg Balance Scale which were executed to measure postural adjustment have shown no significant difference between the results of pretest and the results of posttest and follow up test(p>.05). And, there was no significant difference among Static Balance Eye Opened, Static Balance Eye Closed, and Dynamic Balance using Biorescure(p>.05). Also, in the walking ability test using OptoGait, there was no significant difference between Walking Velocity and Stride Length(p>.05). 2. In the Group 2, which executed sensorimotor training, Timed Up & Go test and Berg Balance Scale have shown a significant difference only in the results of posttest(p<.05). And Static Balance Eye Opened, Static Balance Eye Closed, and Dynamic Balance using Biorescure have shown a significant difference in posttest and follow up test(p<.05). Also, Walking velocity and Stride Length have shown a significant difference ain posttst and follow up test(p<.05). 3. In Group 3 which executed the vestibular rehabilitation exercise, Berg Balance Scale has shown a significant difference only in the results of posttest(p<.05), Timed Up & Go test has shown a significant difference in the results of posttest and follow up test(p<.05) And, Static Balance Eye Opened has shown a significant difference only in posttest(p.<.05), and Static Balance Eye Closed has shown a significant difference in posttest and follow up test(p<.05). Also, Walking velocity has shown a significant difference in posttest and follow up test (p<.05), Stride Length has shown a significant difference only in posttest (p<.05). 4. In the Static Balance Eye Opened, the comparison between Group 1 and Group 3 has shown a significant difference only in the mean change of the results of pretst and the results of posttst (p<05.). In the Static Balance Eye Closed, the comparison between Group 1 and Group 2 has shown a significant difference in the mean change of the results of pretest and the results of posttest and the mean change of the results of pretest and the results of follow up test(p<05.), and the comparison between Group 2 and Group 3 has shown a significant difference only in the mean change of the results of pretst and the results of follow up test(p<.05). Also, in Dynamic Balance, the comparison among Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3 has shown a significant difference in the mean change of the results of pretst and the results of posttest(p<05.). In conclusion, We know the sensorimotor training and the vestibular rehabilitation exercise is more effective to the postural adjustment and gait of the parkinson's patients than bicycle training. Also, we know the vestibular rehabilitation exercise is effective to the balance ability of the parkinson's patients who are cut off from sight compensation at the sensory integration function level. So, I think the vestibular rehabilitation treatment which ordinary people can execute by training without special equipments and helps from specialists can help the parkinson patient's function recovery and finally help them return to their daily life. Also if we encourage the use of the vestibular rehabilitation exercise to treat the parkinson's patients, it will help to reduce the financial and time burden of them.
