In order to enhance the catalytic activity and surface area of catalytic support with minimal cost, new type of carbon support was synthesized from biomass resources. Cellulosic biomass resources for the synthesis of porous carbon support can be easily obtained in nature, inexpensive, and has an attractive morphology, such as honeycomb-like channel structure. Carbon black has been used for catalyst support but it is expensive to produce. Then, nanocellulose can be used for PEMFC electrode material. Using nanocellulose for Electrode material is alternative Carbon black because nanocellulose is derived from biomass. It can be produced inexpensive by easy method. The aim of this study is synthesize porous carbon support using natural biomass resources. For the manufacture of nano-micro hybrid reactor, different kinds of biomass materials were used. The catalytic performance of Ni supported on nano-micro hybrid reactor was investigated against CO2 reforming of CH4, which is an attractive reaction for the conversion of two main green house gases into the valuable (CO+H2) mixture. The structure of nano-micro hybrid catalyst reactor was observed by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), and Focused Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscopy (FIB-SEM).
