The Effects of Aerobic Activity and Anaerobic Exercise on Improving Physical Strength of the Elite Table Tennis Players

This study is aimed at reveling how aerobic activity and anaerobic exercise program before and after exercise affect physical strength improvement. This study was selected by 8 elite table tennis players in middle and high school and aerobic activity and anaerobic exercise program before and after exercise was equally conducted to all subjects for 0-8 weeks. From this result, we carried out Paired t-test for significant difference verification in groups. Level of significance was established with p<05. Then, we come to the following conclusion.
In exercise group, change of physical strength showed more significant difference in muscular strength, muscle endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility of the body, explosive muscular strength, agility after experiment than before experiment (p<.05, p<.01, p<.001). Taken together, by applying physical strength exercise program to the elite table tennis players we can conclude that physical strength exercise program has positive effects of physical factor(muscular strength, muscle endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility of the body, explosive muscular strength, agility) the existing women's table tennis players focus only on a game conducted by training but this research presented opportunity to get basic data of training to table tennis team. Further research will suggest types of exercise in various aspects. If the elite table tennis players change daily diet and lifestyle pattern and improve physical strength and function, of course positive effect will be able to appear in game. A sustained research and development of exercise program will provide data of training method and chance to make a good performance to elite table tennis players in game.
