The purpose of this study is to analyze factors affecting welfare perception with leaders of Eup, Myeon, and Dong, Busan metrocity. To this end, I conducted complete enumeration about leaders of Eup, Myeon, and Dong, Busan metrocity. I surveyed total of 204 case. Analysis method was used by frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis.
Look at the descriptive statistics of the dependent variable, When the average value based on the three point related with primary responsibility in welfare services, they are showed the unemployed (3.04), the elderly (3.42), the disabled (3.25), children and juvenile (3.25). they displayed the conservative standpoint, even if those who do not have the ability to work, it means that responsibity is for individual rather than social. In addition, in the category of welfare fiscal expansion, they showed that welfare fiscal should be maintain the current level.
The result is that significant variables that affect the dependent variable are ideological variables, perception and understanding, duration and activities variables.
The result implied that the more progressive in ideological
value-orientation, the higher perception and understanding of social welfare work, the longer the period welfare work perform and the higher the volunteer and donation activities affected welfare perception with leaders of Eup, Myeon, and Dong.
In other words, there are very important for welfare understanding and work experience of leader in order to improve the welfare perception. Presenting policy proposals as follows, First, leaders should have a more advanced welfare ideology. To this end, it is necessary to conduct educational program. Second, it is important for leaders to aware and understand about the social work. Therefore, to understand, it is necessary to provide the program by the government. Third, in order to become leaders, it is necessary to provide an institutional framework to perform welfare work for a certain period of time. Fourth, it is necessary to provide directly participation in social service delivery process as leaders. Finally, leaders require strengthened networking.
