Study of scalp conditions changes according to the use of shampoo among hair loosing men with head spa therapy원문보기

The purpose of this study is to examine how the shampoo used on a daily basis by male salary earners subject to the head spa therapy program at home as part of home care affects scalp and hair. It is intended to compare the functional shampoos produced based on the principle of natural carbonic acid, which attracts keen attention recently against regular shampoos easily available in most retail stores and that are purchased without a proper understanding of shampoos.
In particular, this study aims to raise awareness of the importance of using a proper shampoo on a daily basis for salary earners who suffer from hair loss due to pHysical and mental stress in the hustle and bustle of urban life. The head spa therapy refers to all comprehensive solutions designed to nourish brain and scalp and care program that includes scalp, hair and their massages. The head spa therapy designed to relieve pHysical and mental stressis often utilized as a positive way to prevent the occurrence of hair loss and to reduce stress through massage therapy using aroma fragrance favored by individuals.
This paper has conducted a prior survey on the head spa therapy to find out the extent of understanding of the head spa therapy among ordinary people although scalp and hair care specialist shops have a high level of awareness. For this, I have selected 20 male salary earners in their 20s and 30s who are suffering from hair loss in a bid to apply the head spa therapy to them based on the awareness survey results. These subjects have been instructed to receive 40 minute care every day after work in a sequential order as part of the head spa therapy program, and 10 subjects belonging to the home care experiment group have been instructed to use a functional shampoo while the other 10 persons belonging to the control group have been instructed to use a regular shampoo. And then, specific locations have been determined in one, three and six weeks for comparative measurements and pHotos before and after the treatment have been inserted to ensure location accuracy. The measurements have bene made on the forehead region, parietal region, occipital region, and the both-side head region to conduct a comparative analysis on the presence of oil and moisture on the scalp, size of pore, thickness of hair, and dead skin of scalp.
First, when it comes to change in the amount of moisture and oil, which is a major factor to determine the scalp type, those belonging to the experiment group have seen an increase of moisture and decrease of oil in the forehead region, parietal region, occipital region, and both-side head region compared to hose in control group.
That is, the experiment group obtained the average moisture content of – 2.280 before scalp care and 1.400 after care while the control group obtained – 1.520 before care and 1.540 after care, indicating that there has been an increase of moisture content on average among those in the experiment group compared to those in the control group. When it comes to the average oil content, the experiment group obtained the average oil content of –2.060 before care and – 3.100 after care while the control group obtained the average oil content of – 0.720 before care and –0.580 after care, demonstrating that there has been a decrease of oil content on average among those in the experiment group compared to those in the control group.
I have been able to identify the effects of using a functional shampoo with the principle of natural carbonic acid incorporated in it in improving the condition of normal scalp type by ensuring a moisture and oil balance on the scalp.
When it comes to the size of pore, the forehead region saw a decrease, parietal region saw no change, and the occipital region saw an increase. In addition, both-side head region saw a decrease in the size of pore, indicating somewhat difference among subjects depending on the scalp form. And those subject to the head spa program experienced their hair to be thickened for both the experiment group and the control group with the average hair thickness for the former and the latter increased from 0.070 before care to 0.081 after care and from 0.073 to 0.074, respectively, indicating that hair thickening is more significant in the experiment group. And, when it comes to the difference in dead skin, removal of dead skin has been visually identified to be is higher among those in experiment group who have used the functional shampoo based on the principle of natural carbonic acid using a 100X measuring instrument of 100 ten magnifications.
The information on scalp hair shampoo products pouring in media has attracted negative connotations sometimes associated with public criticism due to excessively exaggerating advertisements and incorrect information on ingredients. Despite keen interest in effects and efficacies on functional shampoos with natural ingredients, consumers have been hesitant about purchasing them due to price concern and lack of clinical test confirmation. A series of research in a logical, systematic and detailed manner based on objective data will be required to reduce consumer concerns and to rectify incorrect information in market. On top of it, a lot of information that helps consumers correctly understand the benefits of natural ingredients will be needed as well.
This study has confirmed that using a functional shampoo on a daily basis as part of the head spa therapy among male salary earners suffering from hair loss roduce positive results and that selecting a right shampoo used every day is ne of the key elements to prevent the occurrence of hair loss and to promote the health of scalp. Of course, the head spa therapy itself creates positive effects as well so further studies using a variety of experiment methods will be needed to support and reaffirm the test.
