Recent studies have examined methods of reproducing and analyzing movement and grasp pattern; each method however, has one or more associated issues. The simplest method of detecting human movement is by using image processing; however detection errors may occur. Other commonly used methods are the use of Kinect, which uses skeleton tracking to track the user's joint movement, and infrared camera. The former captures drift may occurs. Practiced in a darkened environment, the latter captures the movements of human joints and segments accurately, but with limitations to space and distance. In this study, we address these infrared limitations by using the rotation angle of the motion sensor to eliminate detection errors and drift phenomena. In doing so, we minimize the space and distance limits, and accurately extract the movements and matching rate of the user. The paper also proposes three methods of extracting matching rates of static pose; two methods use sensors, and one method uses Kinect. The paper compares each method, and then finally proposes and evaluates two methods of extracting the matching rate of dynamic action. The methods proposed in this paper allow for an accuracy rate of over 90% for both pose and action measurements.
