Since IR-UWB radar sensors have advantages such as high precision, low power consumption, wide frequency range, permeability, security and simple hardware structure, they are actively studied in many fields such as position measurement system, heart rate and respiration measurement system .
In this paper, we design a real-time target tracking system for IR-UWB radar and apply detection technique to each target. The performance and analysis are performed accordingly. We also propose a detection technique based on multiple objects. We apply human detection technique to real - time tracking system and derive the results.
As a result of this paper, the position of fixed single object was estimated and the error was 0.3 cm. We compared the performance of the three techniques for estimating fixed multiple objects, and the best results were obtained using the characteristics of the signals. And human detection has estimated the near - distance person and the remote person through the breath detection technique. However, in the case of respiration, an error of about 10 cm was derived by estimating the center of the chest. In addition, it can not be confirmed that it is a reflection signal of a person certainly when it is estimated by breath alone, and it is expected that it can be precisely derived by applying it in combination with other techniques.
