하버트 리드(Herbert. Harbert Read defines art as an art that interprets nature and expresses the beauty that nature possesses by sublimating it beyond what nature itself has by means of formative and artistic means. Nature is not created by human power, but exists by itself, and has a vitality through the cycle of creation and destruction. Life is constantly moving thing, and it is changed free energy formed in the universe. In art, nature is a subject of constant inquiry. So people are comforted, impressed, and stimulated by it. My thesis is written in the proposition that human life is something surprisingly deep and wide. We live in a world of reality and constantly hoping for something. The thing is a will of living or dream, and people are pursuing it by living a real life. That will is the power of energy, which is one big life force. Such a positive energy force as a pursuit of utopia is radiated through constant interactions with nature. The spiritual value that nature gives is very big. Art has a close relationship with nature, and human beings have been existed in nature. Also human being express profoundness and mysteriousness of nature in a plastic and artistic way with inner energy. In that expression, artist abstracts the image of nature by his or her subjective sensation and intuition as something that has spiritual value above the sensitive and material world. The beginning of the work starting from the observation of nature is to realize the meaning in each things that exist objectively. In other words, it starts to know from the living things of nature around oneself. And people explores the meaning of the object, explore in depth, and expand knowledge of the object. we, artists must observe the objects of nature, and while exploring them according to our own emotion and personality. And then we abstract it by using the lines while omitting and simplifying it. Abstraction means that ‘destroying the concrete world of the external things expressed by abstract expressionists and giving each individuality to the structural elements of painting, such as line, color, plane, and texture, to express his own inner world.’ I was trying to express the vitality of nature with a line that is a formative element of painting, while the specificity of the outside world is not completely abstract. Lines are pieces of memory that connect and communicate past and present, past time and space in the image of wind, pinetree, snow, and winter. Through repetitive lines represents the fainted longing of the inner side of me. I expressed the nostalgia of the inner life as a line through the nature, using the martian with thick oil paintings. I also expressed emotional and vivid internal emotions by drawing oil sticks on it. It creates a space in my painting by expressing painterly and layering of lines. This study is a process of reflection on the meaning of true self through the abstract painting in the contemporary society which is fast growing. It is the value and spirituality of abstract art. Through the continuous interaction with nature, this researcher is trying to express myself, the world, the visible world, and the invisible world behind in an abstract way of painting with vitality. I will continue to explore and study.
