Subjects of this study were in adults of sleep disorder through the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Assessment (PSQI) and assessed the stress (BEPSI-K) classified the control group below 1.6 and the stress group above 1.8 (Stress group: n=32, Control group). That was performed sleep questionnaires, polysomnography, 24-hour recall(1day), Meal diary(2day), Food Frequency Questionnaire. The age of the subjects was 29.0 ± 10.1 years in the stress group and 40.7 ± 14.8 years in the control group. Body mass index (BMI) was 23.4 ± 3.2 in the stress group and 22.7 ± 3.1 in the control group. Stanford Sleep Scale was 2.43 ± 0.66 in the stress group, 2.53 ± 0.73 in the control group, Epworth Sleep Scale was 75% in the stress group and 77.2% in the control group. Total sleep time was 357.37 ± 41.93 minutes in the stress group and 359.95 ± 29.04 minutes in the control group. Sleep Efficiency was 85.36 ± 10.25% in the stress group, 90.92 ± 7.72% in the control group, 16.94 ± 20.86 minutes in the stress group and 9.42 ± 8.24 minutes in the stress group. Total energy intake was 662.99 ± 459.85kcal in the stress group and 1735 ± 394.39kcal in the control group. Fiber, Water, ash, vitamin A, b-carotene, vitamin K, vitamin C, folate, vitamin B12, calcium, potassium, magnesium, iodine Were higher in the control group than stress group. Food Frequency Questionnaire analysis showed that consumption of Grain, meat and Eggs, beverage, Snack and soju more than control group. In the control group, there were more vegetables and fruits. It is suggested that the importance of nutritional education and management of eating in stress management should be emphasized because stress has a negative effect on sleep and causes undesirable eating habits Key words : Sleep disorder, Stress, Nutritional status
