노인의료복지시설에 입소한 경증치매노인의 집단미술치료 체험연구 Hermeneutic Phenomenological Understanding on Lived Experience of Group Art Therapy of The aged with Mild Dementia who entered into the Senior Medical Welfare Facilities원문보기

As the nation begins to become a full-fledged aging society, there is mounting concern over the growing number of elderly people, age-related diseases, and rising Alzheimer's disease. Currently, one out of 10 elderly adults in Korea is suffering from dementia, and the prevalence of dementia is also expected to increase sharply, as the prevalence of dementia increases with the elderly, nurses, and nursing practitioners. Because mild dementia adults have relatively complete functions, treatment at this time plays an important role in maintaining and improving the overall functioning of dementia seniors. Moreover, leaving the home and family behind into strange institutions and allowing the mentally unstable old to have a sense of security, comfort, and security with which to enhance the performance of intellectual activity and awareness by boosting the sense of achievement, comfort, and security of dementia. In order to effectively conduct the treatment of dementia older adults, a substantial amount of qualitative research, such as quantitative research, is needed to determine how dementia seniors experience art therapy. Therefore, it is necessary for the elderly with mild dementia to understand what the group art therapy experiences are like. The aim of this study is to understand the meaning and nature of experiences that small dementia adults who have been placed in care of the elderly have during group art therapy. Through this, the Commission plans to provide qualitative data to help the public understand the actual treatment of group art for people with mild dementia. Data collection for this study was conducted in depth for two months from September to October 2107, for a total of 10 people with mild dementia who have been through group art therapy who had been admitted to an elderly medical welfare facility. The data collected were analyzed using Max van Manen's method of analytic phenomenological study, resulting in nine substantive topics and 22 sub-themes. Nine essential themes that emerged during the course of the collective art therapy process for the elderly with minor dementia at the health care facility are as follows. , , , , , , , , The results of the studies based on the topical analysis, analytic phenomenological writing, and discussion have the following conclusions. First, group art therapy activities for study participants are the experience of providing a source of vitality to the boring living in nursing homes, meeting and interacting with other dementia seniors, gaining confidence and concentrating on activities. Second, group art therapy activities for researchers are to use an art media suitable to the nature of an old person with dementia, and to stimulate various emotions, such as novelty, pleasure, gratitude, and discomfort, with the appropriate attitude of an art therapist. Third, for the study participants, art works in group art therapy are a reminder of the past. Therefore, they experience a joy of re-imagining their youthful days and finding memories of their collective art therapy. Fourth, study participants do not want to participate in group art therapy activities because of their different bodies and memories, but they experience painful attendance and this sense of depression and lethargy, as a result of their attendance by a set nursing home plan. This study, which is based on the study of collective art therapy experiences of the elderly with mild dementia, was significant in that elderly people with dementia developed to understand group art therapy experiences. To provide specific understanding and utilization of elderly care practitioners and art therapists who are interested in art-related research aids, and to provide specific information on the use of pattern-related research aids for older people with mild dementia on a practical level.
