In this paper, we observed the effect of physicochemical properties of nanobubble solutions on the stability of the nanobubbles. For a physicochemical properties, aqueous solutions having different pH value and NaCl concentration were produced. The concentration and size distribution of nanobubble in nanobubble solutions with time were obtained by nanoparticle tracking analysis method. Also, the electrical properties of the surface of nanobubbles were examined by zeta potential measurement. As a result, the reduction rate of nanobubble concentration in acidic solution is larger than them in neutral and alkaline solutions. It is closely related to this zeta potential value of nanobubble surface in each aqueous solutions. In a high zeta potential region, the nanobubble concentration was slowly decreased with time. On the other hand, the nanobubble concentration was rapidly decreased with time in a low or nearly zero zeta potential region. In addition, the nanobubble size was gradually increased with decreasing of nanobubble concentration. It is because the surrounding gas diffuses into the nanobubble (Ostwald ripening effect). In the case of NaCl aqueous solution, the initial stability of nanobubble was deteriorated due to the rapid change in diameter of the particles compared with ordinary neutral aqueous solution. However, a long-term stability of nanobubble was improved because the potential difference of the particles was maintained for a long time. Based on the results, we confirmed that the nanobubble particles can be stably existed when the nanobubble surface is maintained the high potential difference condition. In addition, it is known that the existence of ions in the aqueous solution effect on the short and long-term stabilities of nanobubble in nanobubble solutions.
