The Clothcare product we call” styler” was developed for expensive cloth such as suit, coat, fur, leather, not towel and underwear. Seen from the distance, it looks like air-condition, but it has multi-function for cloths. In addition to remove wrinkle and odor, sanitary and drying are main functions. In this study, focusing function removing fine dust for cloth, better performance is considered. Before testing how much styler removes fine dust from cloth, it needs to determine how to measure fine dust, how to make standard cloth with fine dust. With previous research and references, measure method is focused on concentration of fine dust. Standard cloths were also determined by air pollution level. This study starts from question how to improve removing dust from cloth. So we designed “shaking stick” which was attached to hanger. After Several pretests, there is formula between stick length and moving hanger RPM. Setting 4 conditions by the formula, we tested two types of cloth suit and Y-shirt. The result of testing shows that if moving hanger RPM is faster and shaking stick is shorter, performance increases. Also because of noise issue, it is not acceptable to choose condition #3, #4. Therefore condition #2 is proper as view of mass product, and dust through the previous test method was removed to 99.9% from that of cloth. We also change shape of shaking stick for soft-care cloth and improvement of removing wrinkle, but it has side effect that causes the decrease of performance.
