Honorifics is one of Korean grammar that Chinese Learners for Korean language need to have in order to improve their communicate abilities in Korean. In Korean there are three kinds of honorifics; Subject Honorific, Object Honorific and Hearer Honorific, which are composed to one whole system. So far, more researches have been conducted on Hearer Honorific than Subject Honorific among them. However, according to some precedent researches, Chinese learners had more errors in Subject Honorific than Hearer Honorific. Although there is a honorific expression in Chinese, but unlike Korean, it is not organized with a particular grammatical category. Also, because Korean Honorifics is too complicate and there is not a correspondent system in Chinese, Chinese learners for Korean language are having more difficulty in Subject honorific. So, In this study we prepared effective teaching methods for Chinese learners to use Korean honorifics, especially Subject honorific accurately and fluently. To achieve the purpose of this study we firstly examined errors which Chinese learners made in using Korean Subject honorific and analysed their causes.
