This study analyzed the effects of factors for work-life balance on job satisfaction. Work-life balance policies were divided into family-friendly policies and work-leisure balance policies, and job satisfaction and regression analysis were conducted by setting them as independent variables, including support from their bosses. First, family-friendly policies did not have a significant impact on job satisfaction. Work-leisure balance policies, such as the flexible work system, had a significant impact on job satisfaction, and the boss' approval rating was found to have a significant impact on job satisfaction. There was no adjustment effect of marriage and child status in the relationship between family-friendly policy, work-leisure balance policy and job satisfaction. The results of this study are meaningful in the following areas: First, if a family-friendly policy is to be a factor in job satisfaction, it can consider ways to develop a family-friendly policy by supplementing the system, such as expanding external compensation for parental leave. Second, in order for the flexible work system for work-leisure balance to be implemented properly, various methods such as discretionary work system and telecommuting system should be used. Third, the welfare policies related to the families and work of civil servants have many opportunities for married people to use. As the number of unmarried people increases, policy changes seem to be needed in line with the changing times. Fourth, unlike in the past, the system should be supplemented so that men can actively participate in household affairs as the ratio of male household chores increases in modern society. Unlike previous studies, this study validated the control variables of marriage and child status. Although there was no adjustment effect, the analysis clearly confirmed the completeness of the welfare system. As the trend of the times changes to small families and single-person families, the organization of civil servants also needs to improve the welfare system in line with the times.
