Therefore, from a linguistic point of view, this paper seeks to discuss the problem of 'poetic effect' delivery of metaphorical expressions presented in Dubois by combining literary elements such as poetic essence and properties. First of all, in this paper, we want to analyze how the poetic effects were reproduced in the Korean translation of Duboshi by comparing and analyzing the translations of each translator's translations and classifying and presenting the translation strategies applied to them. In addition, I would like to propose an attitude that a translator must have to convey the poetic effect in a poem translation.
Looking at the results of the translation process from the perspective of Chinese translation majors, this paper has difficulty in the field of poetry translation due to the difficulty of poetry, which I think is most important to understand the poet's intentions with background knowledge of poetry. It is also difficult to judge which strategy is most appropriate in poetry translation. This is because each poem has a different intention or emotion to convey the poet. Therefore, this paper does not list the order of the four translations through analysis, but rather focuses on whether the translation text from various layers has been communicated with the poetic effect. I believe that there must be a link between Korean and Chinese to a common cognitive space where they feel, think, and move universally in the presence of linguistic and cultural differences. Based on sufficient prior knowledge of the background of the work, culture, and intention of the author, efforts to find the optimal equivalence by using the linguistic features of the language will be able to convey the poetic effect recreated by translation. This will require the translator's constant efforts and more research on poetry translation. The limitations of this paper are that the analytical subjects are very limited. In addition, there were very few prior studies dealing with poetry translation from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, which resulted in many subjective thinking in the analysis section.
