Artificial intelligence is a technology that artificially implements human intellectual ability, and it is applied in various fields such as voice recognition, recommendation system, and self-driving cars in modern society, affecting real life. There are many technologies in the artificial intelligence field, of which deep learning is an artificial neural network modeled after the complex structure between neurons and neurons in the human nervous system, allowing machines to judge at a similar level to humans. In this paper, we aim to derive a learning model that exhibits a similar level of results as experts based on deep learning, which can classify images at a similar level to humans. This allows semi-automatic detection of problems in the fingerprints received, and when applying the AFIS system, the classification system can be subdivided to derive a 'choice group' at a faster rate than before. We organized data by class by specifying features that can classify information when fingerprints are received as input data, and derived a deep learning learning model that classifies features. The data classification was based on good classification of the coordinates, the presence of scars or wrinkles on the fingerprint, moisture on the fingerprint, non-linear fingerprints, and gender, and was trained to derive a learning model similar to that of experts on each classification list. The prediction rate was 96.80% for deep learning models that distinguish between coordinates and superiority, 96.17% for deep learning models that determine whether moisture is present, 94.80% for deep learning models that determine whether wounds or wrinkles, and 99.09% for deep learning models that discriminate nonlinear fingerprints. Learning results showed that ResNet50 performed well in classifying fingerprints, while VGG-16 performed better than ResNet50 in classifying wounds or wrinkles. In this paper, we describe how to collect learning data, the process of preprocessing of collected data, deep learning architectures that perform well in the field of image classification used to derive learning models, and how we have conducted comparisons with the accuracy of systems being used by experts or real-world environments.
