The purpose of this study was to examine the moderated mediating effect of positive social reactions to trauma disclosure through psychological acceptance on the relationship between meaning in life and posttraumatic growth. A total of 345 university students and graduate students aged 19 to 28 years old completed self-report questionnaires including Interpersonal Trauma Experience Checklist, Korean Social Reactions Questionnaire(K-SRQ), Acceptance & Action Questionnaire-Ⅱ(AAQ-Ⅱ), Post-traumatic Growth Inventory(PTGI), Meaning in Life Questionnaire(MILQ). The main results were as follows: First, the findings in a correlation analysis indicated that meaning in life, psychological acceptance, posttraumatic growth and positive social reaction to trauma disclosure were positively correlated. Second, psychological acceptance partially mediated the relationship between meaning in life and posttraumatic growth. Third, positive social reaction had significant effect of moderated mediation between meaning in life, psychological acceptance and posttraumatic growth. Based on these results, Implications and limitations of the study and suggestions for future study were discussed.
