This study was conducted using a phenomenological approach among qualitative research methods, which is an inductive narrative method, in order to in-depth find out what changes are taking place in women's perception of beauty management after COVID-19. As the research participants, 8 women who are engaged in beauty and health-related work that can reflect the information and experiences that are closest to the research topic were selected by the purposive sampling method and non-probability sampling method. The data analysis of the in-depth interview content was performed using the four-step phenomenological analysis method suggested by Giorgi (1985). In order to secure the validity and reliability of the study, three methods suggested by Glesne (1999) were applied: Member Checks, Triangulation, and Peer Debriefing consultation. In order to secure the validity of the study, 8 evaluation criteria for the validity strategy of the qualitative study suggested by Cresswell (2013) were applied mutatis mutandis. As a result of the study, 113 semantic units, 20 sub-components, and 6 elements were finally derived. The contents of the components were identified as changes in perception of information search, changes in interest in beauty, positive evaluation perception according to wearing a mask, negative evaluation perception according to wearing a mask, observation of other people's appearance management and information exchange, and changes in interpersonal perception. Through the results of this study, it was confirmed that women's perception of beauty management has changed, and it has been confirmed that the social disaster of the COVID-19 infectious disease is changing into a beauty behavior for rational consumption according to the situation. In this study, the components, processes, and meanings experienced by the participants were grasped in vivid language through the task of in-depth confirmation of changes in women's perception of beauty management and their experiences after COVID-19. It is expected that these research results will be used as a scientific basis for changes in women's beauty management behavior in the future.
