두 경우 각각 glass/FTO/compact-TiO2/meso-ZrO2/perovskite/spiro/Au electrode 구조와 glass/FTO/compact-TiO2/meso-TiO2/meso-ZrO2/perovskite/carbon 구조로 준비하였다.

To improve efficiency and secure economic feasibility in Perovskite Solar Cells (PSC), which is a well-known renewable energy, the change in properties of PSC were confirmed according to use of electron transport layer of porous ZrO2 and carbon electrode layer. The ZrO2 electron transport layer research showed comparison between the device with ZrO2 layer and the device with TiO2 layer, and confirmed the efficiency enhancement effect of urea addition in the ZrO2 device. Use of carbon electrode replaced spiro used as hole transport layers and precious metal electrodes with porous carbon electrodes. Perovskite formation was confirmed from productivity and economic aspect by separating into hot-plate, oven, and RTA (rapid thermal annealing; RTA) process. In both cases, glass/FTO/compact-TiO2/meso-ZrO2/perovskite/spiro /Au electrode structure and glass/FTO/compact-TiO2/meso-TiO2 /meso-ZrO2/perovskite/carbon structures were prepared, respectively. In particular, samples of carbon electrode device were prepared with perovskite/carbon layer replacing the proveskite/HTL/Au electrode layer through hot-plate, oven, and RTA heat treatment process, separately. The microstructure and composition of the prepared samples were analyzed using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and electron probe micro analyzer (EPMA), and surface roughness and transmittance were analyzed using AFM, 3D profiler, and UV-VIS-NIR. Solar simulator and potentiostat were used to observe the photoelectric characteristics. A research comparing the ZrO2 electron transport layer with TiO2 layer showed that the thickness of perovskite layer increased and then decreased according to the increase in the thickness of each layer. It was confirmed that the trough spacing at each thickness affected the perovskite grain size. At the optimum thickness, higher photoelectric efficiency was measured from the device using ZrO2 since ZrO2 and TiO2 showed the highest photoelectric efficiency of 12.80 and 12.00%, respectively. Therefore, it was confirmed that the ZrO2 layer could be a new ETL. The study of urea-added perovskite to ZrO2 ETL confirmed that the highest efficiency was 15.43%, and the increase in efficiency was generated by the increase in perovskite grains from 257 nm to 384 nm according to urea content. The reason for the decrease in efficiency was a phenomenon that appeared as the light energy reaching the perovskite decreased while the thickness of the electron transport layer increased. Therefore, it was confirmed that ZrO2 was a material which can replace TiO2 as the possibility of using the ZrO2 layer as a new electron transport layer and the effect of increasing the perovskite grain through urea was applied. As a result of photoelectric properties according to the heat treatment method, in the case of porous carbon electrode, oven and RTA method could be advantageous by considering the process time and productivity. As a result of microstructure analysis, in the case of surface microstructure, it was confirmed that an excess perovskite phase was formed in hot-plate treatment, and a relatively uniform surface was confirmed in RTA and oven treatment. In the case of the cross-sectional microstructure, an excess phase was confirmed on the upper part of the sample prepared by hot-plate treatment, and microcracks were observed on the carbon electrode layer. In the case of oven treatment, a relatively uniform cross-sectional structure was confirmed compared to the hot-plate. In the case of RTA, it was confirmed that the perovskite was formed more uniformly throughout. As a result of the photoelectric characteristics, it was confirmed that the manufactured devices had efficiencies of 2.66% through hot-plate, 3.87% through oven, and 4.10% through RTA. Therefore, the possibility in RTA method was confirmed as a new heat treatment method considering the manufacturing process time of a large-area device. The addition of ZrO2 electron transport layer and urea could increase the efficiency of the perovskite solar cell, and it was possible to secure economic feasibility by using a carbon electrode and an appropriate heat treatment method.
