This study was conducted to compare the demographic characteristics, subjective health level, social physical environment, social activity participation, and happiness of Hongcheon-gun residents' social network and social activity participation on happiness. The main results are as follows.
First, there will be a difference in happiness according to characteristics. In other words, women had higher feelings of happiness than men, 70 years of age or older, and education level was higher in high school than in high school, and in subjective health, neighbor trust, neighborhood help, safety level satisfaction, living environment satisfaction, and medical satisfaction.
Second, there will be differences in the influence of social networks and participation in social activities on happiness. In other words, the more social networks there are and the more participating in social activities, the higher the feeling of happiness.
Third, there will be differences in the influence of social network and participation in social activities on happiness according to age and gender. In other words, the more social networks there were over the age of 60, the higher the happiness, and the more social networks there were in the female group than in the male group, the higher the happiness. According to the above research results, this study needs to develop health education programs for population groups and present efficient health service directions in consideration of the characteristics of groups under the age of 60 and over the age of 60, male and female groups.
