An unexpected shutdown in the industrial sites result in catastrophic damage costs. Especially, motor failure has a severe influence on the overall system in industrial facilities including fire fighting systems, electrical systems, water supply·drainage systems and transportation systems. Therefore, technology that can diagnose and maintain the machine is vital in terms of the whole system. In particular, in the field of railway·machinery·motor, it is complicate to establish and manage equipment operating plans because life expectancy is difficult to anticipate due to product characteristics such as a various installation time, different manufacturers and diverse specifications. In addition, a substantial amount of failure data is necessary to build an AI (Artificial Intelligence) system, but it is difficult to obtain such data in practice. Motivated by the current situation, we first analyze and implement supervised anomaly detection models utilizing a considerable quantity of failure data gathered from facility electric motors in this study. Subsequently, we propose a feature extraction method to increase the performance of the models, which will serve as the basis for the development of a machine facility anomaly detection system. As a result of the study, the performance of the 'Random Forest' model was determined to be the best, and the performance was improved by from 6 to 16 percent as a consequence of extracting features reflecting the characteristics of the data. As the model's accuracy exceeds 99 percent, it appears feasible to develop a anomaly detection system that can be deployed directly to real-world industrial sites. This work is expected to have a significant impact in academia in that it proposed supervised learning and feature extraction methodologies to develop a high-accuracy anomaly detection system. Finally, it is expected that this study will help to the overall enhancement of the quality of machinery equipment.
