As always, the problem of school violence is emerging as a serious social problem. The increase in figures every year despite national efforts leads us to educational concerns. According to the Ministry of Education (2021), "verbal violence (41.7%)" is the highest among the response rates by type of school violence damage, and ranked first in every survey from 2013 to 2021. In addition, as the place where school violence occurs is gradually changing from offline to online, verbal violence in cyber violence is also serious. As a result of this, this study aims to study the effect of watching personal broadcasting on adolescents' verbal violence, noting that adolescents who watch more violent Internet single-person broadcasts feel the urge to do what they see in content (Kim Ki-jung, 2018). Through the results of this study, it is expected that regulations on personal broadcasting will be strengthened, and prevention education on personal broadcasting and verbal violence will be established to contribute to the healthy Internet culture of teenagers. According to this purpose, this study is a study on the effect of watching personal broadcasting on youth's verbal violence, and the hypothesis established in the study is as follows.
First, there will be differences in verbal violence according to the general characteristics of adolescents. Second, there will be differences in verbal violence depending on adolescents' personal broadcasting.
As a research subject to verify this hypothesis, the analysis was conducted based on the results of a survey conducted by a researcher visiting middle school students in Deokjin-gu, Jeonju from October to November 2021. 510 questionnaires were distributed, but only 402 (78.8%) were collected. Among them, a total of 323 people were used in the survey, excluding 79 surveys (19.6%) with insincere or missing responses. As a research method, quantitative research methods were used using the SPSS 28.0 statistical package to investigate the reality of adolescents' personal broadcasting, ANOVA, T-test, and multi-reaction frequency analysis were used to find out the differences in verbal violence by factors of adolescents' general characteristics. Finally, ANOVA and post-verification schemes were used to find out the differences between adolescents' personal broadcasting viewing and verbal violence by sub-factors. A survey written by Kang Jung-bae (2017) was used to investigate the use of personal broadcasting. The sub-composition of the questionnaire consists of 7 general characteristics, 5 personal broadcasting motivation, 5 personal broadcasting viewing status, and 7 sensational program contact status, response and impact. In addition, Hong Seung-gil (2019)'s verbal violence scale was used to measure verbal violence. This tool consists of a total of 26 questions, and the higher the score, the higher the verbal violence. Using the Likert scale, the 25th negative statement was reversely scored. In this study, the question composition and reliability of the verbal violence scale were Cronbach's alpha=.863. The sub-factor, the wound.833, ridicule 783, intimidation 826, abusive language. It was 852.
The summary of the results of the study through analysis is as follows.
First, in personal Internet broadcasting, viewing time is the highest for two to three hours, the most viewed content is "game," and the most used platform is YouTube and Twitch, and the most watched personal Internet broadcasting through mobile. Second, when looking at the differences according to youth gender, male students were more likely to have verbal violence than female students. Third, as for the verbal violence caused by viewing content that cannot be viewed by teenagers, the group that watched content that cannot be viewed more than 10 times showed higher verbal violence than the group that did not, and the difference in verbal violence according to the type of content was also found. The verbal violence of the group watching sensational content was higher than that of the group not watching.
