Due to the technological development of the 4th Industrial Revolution and changes in the environment, activities using metaverse are increasing. Currently, the metaverse type is mainly classified into technology perspectives such as mixed reality, augmented reality, mirror world, and life logging. However, since various devices such as PCs, smartphones, and virtual plays have recently developed and evolved into fusion and complex forms as they interact and are used between contents, there is a limit to classifying them only from a technology point of view. Therefore, in this study, the metaverse interface was compared and analyzed from a user perspective and usage behavior, and characteristics were derived and categorized. Through this reclassification, 'brand metaverse space design for service design' was proposed from the perspective of user experience of metaverse as an expanded space. First, the concept of metaverse as a mixed and expanded space was understood by examining the change pattern of the concept of space through theory and analyzing it from the perspective of lifestyle and technology change, and the metaverse platform was investigated and analyzed focusing on the 'Big Tech' case. Through this, we analyzed that metaverse interfaces are changing in various ways that allow human senses to be expanded and experienced, and based on these derived characteristics, we reclassified them into four types: Simulaturing, Immersense, Tranconnect, and Exploration interface. Next, in order to construct a metaverse space based on this type, the brand's flagship store, metaverse service, space usage behavior, and strategy reflecting the characteristics of modern consumers were analyzed. Through the analysis, the original design, brand specificity, communication space, sharing value creation, story composition, and experience space using five senses were derived as elements for the brand to communicate and provide differentiated contents within the consumer's journey. A brand of an industry suitable for guiding the user's convenience and delivering the brand identity was selected as the target of space design by incorporating the retyped interface of the metaverse. In terms of economic activities, the credit card industry, which is a financial industry, is closely related to metaverse, and as it emphasizes discriminatory convenience through brands, which are an intangible product and an important medium for companies and customers, it tried to design a brand metaverse space. To this end, it analyzed the service cases using metaverse by domestic and foreign financial companies, and analyzed the importance of using an open metaverse platform that can be linked to the outside in order to actively utilize financial business beyond customer marketing. Hyundai Card, which implements a marketing strategy that mixes online and offline services and experiences, was selected for space design, and analyzed the functions and consumption behaviors within the services of the existing Hyundai Card brand. Based on the four interfaces of metaverse that have been reclassified and the consumer's brand experience elements, we propose a brand metaverse space design for easier and more convenient service design while providing expanded and optimized information by linking offline experiences with online customers.
