한국판 지속적 애도 척도 개정판의 타당화 및 지속적 애도, 외상후 스트레스, 우울에 대한 잠재계층 도출과 특성 검증 Validation of the Korean Version of the Prolonged Grief Disorder Scale Revised (K-PG13-R) and Latent Profile Analysis of Prolonged Grief, Posttraumatic Stress, and Depression원문보기

This study set out to translate and validate the Prolonged Grief Disorder-13-Revised, identify latent classes in bereaved people by including prolonged grief, posttraumatic stress, and symptoms of depression, and investigate their characteristics. In study 1, translated PG-13-R developed according to the diagnosis criteria of the Prolonged Grief Disorder Inventory included DSM-5-TR into Korean and conducted confirmatory factor analysis. The analysis results confirm that it was comprised of single factors just like the findings of the developers. This K-PG13-R translated into Korean had a high degree of reliability. Its convergent and concurrent validity was also proven based on its correlations with the Prolonged Grief Disorder Scale (PG-13) before revision, Texas Revised Inventory of Grief (TRIG), PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) as well as anxiety and panic in Brief Symptoms Inventory-18 (BSI-8). Study 2 repeatedly tested the confirmatory factor analysis conducted in Study 1 and confirmed that it consisted of a single factor just like the findings of Study 1. It measured people’s prolonged grief with K-PG13-R translated and validated in Study 1 and also their posttraumatic stress and symptoms of depression with PCL-5 and PHQ-9. The results show that a two-class model was the most proper, which led to the naming of two groups: the adjustment group and the prolonged symptoms group. The individuals in the prolonged symptoms group were spouses, parents, grandparents, and lovers of the deceased in many cases and were higher in intrusive/needy and vindictive/self-centered under interpersonal problems than the adjustment group. The individuals in the adjustment group had no religion, spent many months in bereavement, and in many cases, lost elderly ones to death. In addition, in the prolonged symptoms group, people with prolonged grief symptoms of a standard deviation of +1 or higher were classified and named as prolonged symptoms_PG high. Additionally, it was found that they had a higher level of intimacy with the deceased, and bereavement of one’s child or grandchild, and had higher scores in cold/distant among the independent interpersonal problems compared to the adjustment group. Some of the results of this study were consistent with previous studies, but others were not, such as the individuals of the adjustment group had no religion, and the prolonged symptoms group had higher independent interpersonal problem than dependent interpersonal problem. Finally, based on these results, the clinical implications, limitations and suggestions for further research were discussed.
