'이야기판'으로서 초등학교 독서 동아리 프로그램 실행 연구 An Action Research on the Development and Application of Elementary School Reading Club Program as a ‘Storytelling-Pan’원문보기

The purpose of this study is to design and implement a reading club program for 6th grade students in elementary school, explore the aspects of stories that appear in reading discussions, and explore the meaning of club reading discussions as a modern 'storytelling-pan'. First, the concept, type, and components of reading discussion and the concept and components of storytelling-pan were reviewed. In addition, texts suitable for this were selected, and a reading club program was designed and implemented. The three layers of stories that appear in club reading discussions - daily stories, book stories, and aspects of life stories through books were explored. Daily stories showed limited story topics, standardization of topics by speaker, deepening of story topics, and aspects of enjoyment of daily stories. In the book story, the aspect of the story was divided into 'looking outside the text' and 'looking inside the text'. Life stories through books showed various aspects of life stories by classifying them into looking into my desires, looking into myself, and friends I want to be like, according to the stories contained in each text. The club reading discussion can be seen as a kind of modern storytelling-pan. The students who participated in the reading discussion faithfully performed the role of storyteller(narrator) and audience (listener) in turns, and showed the aspect of the role changing dynamically as needed. If old stories and figures were enjoyed in the past storytelling-pan, in the club reading discussion storytelling-pan, stories about interpretation of literary texts and experiences of students participating in reading discussions were made. The teacher as a researcher showed an aspect of acting as a guide and sometimes as a participant. The educational implications of this study are as follows. First, the aspects of the stories to be dealt with in the club reading discussion can be divided into three layers (daily life, books and life). Second, the field of club reading and discussion in the school field was interpreted by applying it to a modern storytelling-pan. Third, the teacher's role and importance in reading education and literature education was approached as an resercher's role in a storytelling stage. Fourth, club reading discussions targeting adolescent students have important values not only in reading, speaking, and writing literacy functions, but also in emotional dimensions such as students' experience sharing, empathy, and reflective reflection. In the future, it is expected that club reading discussion classes targeting senior students will be actively conducted by applying the storytelling-pan of the past, where old stories were enjoyed, to the composition and direction of the reading club program as a modern storytelling-pan in the school field.
