The purpose of this study is a descriptive research study to investigate the patient safety culture perception, nursing professional, nursing work environment, and patient safety nursing activities of nurses in rehabilitation hospitals, and to identify the factors influencing patient safety culture perception, nursing professional, and nursing work environment on patient safety nursing activities. Data collection was from October 23, 2023 to October 31, 2023, and the subjects of the study were 230 nurses with more than 6 months of experience working at a rehabilitation hospital located in D Metropolitan City. The collected data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS 28.0 program using the frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple stepwise regression, and post-verification was analyzed using the Scheffé test. The results of the study are as follows. First, there were significant differences in the subject's perception of patient safety culture in terms of age and educational background, clinical experience, position, experience in reporting events, certification evaluation cycle, and patient safety education, and nursing professionals had significant differences according to age, educational background, and certification evaluation cycle. The nursing work environment had significant differences according to age, educational background, certification evaluation cycle, and number of patient safety education. Patient safety nursing activities had significant differences according to marital status, educational background, clinical experience, position, experience in reporting events, certification evaluation cycle, and number of patient safety education. Second, patient safety nursing activities are recognized for patient safety culture (r=.324, p<.01) and nursing professionals (r=.270, p<.01) and nursing work environment (r=.204, p<.There was a significant positive correlation with 01). Patient safety culture awareness is a nursing professional (r=.538, p<.01) and nursing work environment (r=.624, p<.01) with there was a significant positive correlation. Third, the factors that affect the patient safety nursing activities of nurses in rehabilitation hospitals are the presence or absence of experience in reporting events (=.198, p<.002), communication and procedure (=.188, p<.003), frequency of accidents (=.182, p<.002), total clinical experience (=.177, p<.004), patient safety (=.176, p<.005), direct supervisor/manager (=.173, p<.008) was net, and the explanatory power of these influencing factors was 28.7%. As a result of the above study, it can be seen that patient safety culture awareness and event reporting experience of nurses in rehabilitation hospitals have a positive effect on patient safety nursing activities. Therefore, in order to promote patient safety nursing activities of nurses in rehabilitation hospitals, practical support resources are needed to develop a systematic reporting program and provide feedback and learning opportunities. In addition, as the more clinical experience, the higher the performance of patient safety nursing activities, the more institutional measures should be prepared to develop professional education programs that can be provided annually and to improve the nursing work environment for the continuity of nurses in rehabilitation hospitals.
