Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a software robot technology that replaces human labor with machines to carry out routine and repetitive tasks in accordance with a preset workflow. RPA is utilized in many different industries, but it is most prominently used in the financial industry, where it is actively being used to automate back-office tasks, boost productivity, and cut labor expenses. Compared to other industries, the construction sector has clearly seen a decline in productivity over the last ten or so years, and despite numerous attempts to lower the number of catastrophic accidents, the rate of serious accidents has not decreased. The construction industry has the ability to identify the potential benefits of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and implement effective process automation in various tasks, including project monitoring, purchasing materials, contract management, and personnel handling. The aim of this study is to examine the motivation behind and driving forces behind the implementation of RPA in the domestic construction sector. It also aims to pinpoint the primary factors that have an impact on this adoption and explore the connections between technical and environmental aspects, with a particular emphasis on user satisfaction and organizational performance. The degree of RPA use in the construction industry was assessed, and the influencing factors that interact with the technology of RPA implementation, user experience, and organizational characteristics were defined based on the study's objectives. A survey of RPA experts, users, and field managers in the construction industry was conducted both offline and online using a sample survey research methodology. Following statistical analysis with SPSS, the study’s findings were confirmed. Ten hypotheses of the study’s fourteen ones were accepted, while the remaining four ones were rejected and omitted. On the basis of this, scholarly contributions and recommendations for RPA’s introduction in the building sector were made. Because it offers a potential path for the future deployment of RPA in the construction sector, this study should prove useful in the real world.
