As awareness of global warming around the world, the hydrogen economy is attracting increasing attention. In particular, FCEVs have great potential as a major component of the hydrogen economy, an economic system that produces, stores, and ultimately consumes hydrogen. When it comes to the electrification of vehicles, lithium-ion batteries are currently the main energy storage device in the most commercialized electric vehicles, but they have several limitations, including low power density, limited lifespan, and slow charging times. To compensate for the weaknesses of lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors have been attracting attention. EDLC (Electric Double Layer Capacitor) is a type of supercapacitor, which is based on a nonfaradic reaction, so it has the characteristics of fast response, high power density and long life. Supercapacitors have the advantages of high efficiency in the highpower operating and fast charging speed, which can compensate for the weaknesses of lithium-ion batteries and improve fuel efficiency by storing power during the vehicle's regenerative braking. Therefore, they are being actively researched as an auxiliary power source to supplement the power of the fuel cell system in hydrogen vehicles that have low power density. However, supercapacitors also suffer from aging due to repeated charging and discharging, which can cause major threats to the safety of passengers if power operation is affected due to reduced capacitance. Therefore, for reliable product development, cell and automobile manufacturers need to develop algorithms to predict and evaluate the state of health (SoH) of supercapacitors. In this paper, two models are proposed to predict and evaluate supercapacitor SoH. First, the Self-Attention GRU model is proposed to extend the prediction range while still applying the time series prediction method. Instead of separating the training and testing regions on a single supercapacitor data, a multi-graph training algorithm is designed to predict all regions of the supercapacitor aging curve. The many-to-many method was applied to expand the prediction range by prediction step. Self-Attention technique was applied to reflect the self-correlation score between data sequences to obtain the output value, and 10 evaluation data for 4 test data were collected through Kfold cross validation method to compare the average error. As a result, the average RMSE of 0.0024, the average MAPE of 0.2536%, and the average R squared score of 0.9861 were achieved, which achieve high accuracy compared to the basic recurrent neural network model. In the second method, a model is proposed to predict the entire SoH curve using only the data of the first cycle. Many SoH prediction models studied to date, have high computational complexity, and require a lot of training data. To overcome this problem, a model is proposed that trains the maximum curvature point and midpoints through a deep neural network and predicts the entire SoH curve through curve fitting. Using only the first cycle data as input, 18 test data were evaluated and an average RMSE of 0.0056, average MAPE of 0.5893, and R squared score of 0.9328 were achieved. The model does not require high computational complexity for training and uses only the first cycle data, which is expected to dramatically reduce the evaluation time for manufacturers when evaluating cells.
