초록

지난 25년간 이룩된 지질학의 제분야의 발전으로 그동안 지역적으로 이해되어 온 지질과정과 현상을 시공간으로 폭넓게 대비할 수 있게 되었으며, 그 조구조를 일으킨 기작들에 대해서도 조금씩 규명되고 있다. 본 연구는 현생이언에 있어서 한반도 일원에 대한 조구조 정립에 기여할 목적으로 이루어졌으며, 한반도를 포함한 동아시아의 형성 과정과 그 기작에 초점을 맞추어, 최근에 발표된 관련 연구들을 중심으로 논하고자 한다.
