파노라마방사선사진, 치근단방사선사진 촬영 결과 하악우측 견치 하방에 1.5 X 0.8 cm 크기의 명확하게 경계가구분이 되는 방사선 투과성 병소가 관찰되었다(Fig. 1). 병소의 상방 및 하방, 좌측 및 우측에서는 두꺼운 피질골성 변연을 가지고 있었다.
구강내 소견으로는하악 우측 협측 및 설측 전정부에 부종 및 압통 존재하지 않았고, 촉진 시 하악 우측 견치 하방으로 함몰부가 감지되었다. 하악 우측 중절치, 측절치, 견치, 제1소구치의 동요도 및 타진반응은 없었고, 전기 치수 반응 검사 시, 모두 치수생활력을 나타냈다.
