보행 재활훈련에서 환자의 능력을 고려하여 에너지의 소모를 최소화하는 방법을 고려해야 하는 이유는? | 정상보행은 에너지 효율이 높은 움직임이다[4,5]. 정상 보행을 위해 인체는 에너지를 최소화하는 보행방식과 속도를 선택하게 된다[6]. 그러나 최근 교통사고와 산업재해 등 각종 사고로 인한 장애로 인하여 이러한 보행방식과 속도를 선택할 수 없을 때 더 많은 에너지를 소모하게 될 것이다[6]. 대표적으로 장애인들에게 손상된 부위를 보완해 주고 일상생활에 편리함을 더해 주는 부목 등의 보조기구로 신체 일부를 고정하거나, 목발 보행을 하는 경우에는 고정기간과 각도에 따라서 최소 5%에서 최대 35% 정도까지 에너지소모량이 달라진다[7]. 따라서 보행 재활훈련에서도 환자의 능력을 고려하여 에너지의 소모를 최소화하는 방법을 고려해야만 한다[8]. |
